Photo A Day Challenge: Look around You!

Beauty is all around us and in the little things...we just don't always slow down and INTENTIONALLY LOOK for them!

I was inspired by this blog that had this great photography a day challenge! 

Sometimes in life we have to LOOK for the beauty around us. Some of it is evident, but some of it we have to "put on our radar" to see. For example, when I am in the market to buy a new car I usually have some make, model and color in mind, say a BLUE SUBURBAN. I want to think about it a while, but what I find is that after I put that image in my mind, there are BLUE SUBURBANS EVERYWHERE I look! I think the same is true with life. We have to put the "beauty radar" out there..to look for those LITTLE things around us that bring us joy. This challenge helps us "see" what is going on around us! 

Now, the great thing is that, for this project, we don't have to carry around an actual CAMERA because our PHONES have cameras on them.....or a lot of them do! SLR's and small digital cameras work too, just trying to keep this SIMPLE!

The fun thing about this challenge is if you take your photos and post them to twitter, add the hashtag #FEBPHOTOADAY along with your tweet. Your photos will be added to the larger group of photos and you can see photos of other participants adding this hashtag to their photos!  How fun to get outside of my small little world and see what others are doing and seeing!
